- Associates: $80.00 per hour
- Subcontractors: their rate + 20% management fee
There is a one-hour minimum charge for all onsite visits. Time after that will be charged in 15 minute increments.
Off site services, such as telephone support, product research, and trouble-shooting, will be charged in 15 minute increments.
Billing will start when the technician starts on his or her way to your site, and ends when he or she leaves for the day. Clients will be billed for round-trip travel, unless going to another client.
Work done between 6:30 PM and 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday will be billed at time and a half. Unscheduled, weekend, or holiday work will be charged at double time.
Late Night Transportation
Technicians working after 10:30PM who do not have their own car, will be provided with a taxi or car service home. This expense will be billed to the client.
Standby time (when a technician is idle, waiting for a client's go-ahead) will be billed at ½ the usual rate for the time frame reserved. Standby rates will applied until the technician is relieved. If the technician is called on to assist, time will be billed at the applicable rate.
Off-hours support, without being on standby, will be billed at a $200 activation fee plus the applicable rate.
Payment of Invoices
Invoices, whether for professional services, materials, equipment or reimbursed expenses, are due within 30 days of the invoice date.
Invoices that remain unpaid after 30 days will be charged Interest, at a rate of 1.5% per month.
If invoices remain unpaid after 60 days, Ekapco may decline to provide further equipment or services until such invoices are paid in full. Any equipment left in Ekapco LLC's care for more then 60 days may be considered abandoned.
Clients must pay an advance deposit of 80% on any equipment purchases over $500. All equipment will be billed at cost plus shipping plus 10% markup, with a minimum markup of $10 per item. Equipment is not returnable unless it is defective.
Quotes and Proposals
The customer, at their option, may source equipment from another supplier. Time that Ekapco spends preparing quotes will be billed at standard rates. Each job includes two rounds of quotes. Any additional quote requests will be considered billable.
